Melt - Christmas Scented Candle

I was sent a 'Christmas' scented Melt Candle as a gift for entering a Pintrest competition held by the people at Melt. To say this was generous is an understatement as the candle I received is truly divine.
I could get a whiff of the lovely scent before I had even opened the lid - what's that about? Quality maybe?

I thought I would let you all know about how stunning these candles are. If you're a candleholic like me (real word, honestly) then you will know that all candles range in quality. I have to say that this specific candle is the nicest Christmas one I have come across. It's rich however it doesn't hit you at the back of the throat like some others, and it doesn't have an overly sweet smell - it is, just right!

The candle I am reviewing is part of the 'Travel' range. They come in a round silver tin which can be reused afterwards. The lid can be firmly secured should you want to put the candle in your pocket or bag. If you're working away, stopping at a friends house or a dirty stop out (not me) this unique and warming scent can be enjoyed at any time.

The travel candle alone holds 22 hours of fragrance. This makes me smile as it's that lush in the form of looks and scent that I'm scared to burn it as I don't want it to run out.

The Christmas Scented Candle has a distinctive scent of cinnamon - lets face it, what Christmas scent would be Christmas without Cinnamon? It is spicy and warming which is perfect for when the curtains are shut, your slippers are on and your relaxing with a cup of hot chocolate.

Melt love this candle "because if Christmas was a fragrance it would smell like this. We can't pretend it's the best contender to light on a warm, summer evening - but for this magical time of year it is, quite simple, perfect. Warm & welcoming, rich & spicy, it is Christmas tree, log fires, presents under the tree, wreaths on the door, a sprinkle of snow, soft candle light, family and friends. OK I'll stop now...(P.S Did I mention sleigh bells & Christmas Carols?)..."

Melt candles come in a range of sizes. The biggest has a total of 160 hours of burning time and for only £32.50 that is an amazing price.

Each candle takes up to 36 hours to make, they are hand poured in the  workshop in Lancashire, please remember you aren't buying a mass produced candle - you're buying a unique HAND MADE candle.

Perfect as a present for a loved one or even a luxurious treat for you, there's over 30 different scents to choose from
