Looking Forward to 2013

On New Years Eve I sorted, washed and cleansed.
I didn't just cleanse my home, I cleansed myself.
I'm effected by clutter, mess and disorganisation so I took it upon myself to drag myself away from my laptop for the day and have a new year clean.
I think this has helped me look forward to 2013 with a focused mind.

I've decided that I'm not setting any resolutions, as such, but I will make changes to the way I live my life.
There's lots of things I want to achieve in 2013 but making resolutions means that I will be more affected by any lapse in what I plan.
These are the things that I look forward to...

Thinking about what I want in life: I want to do a job that isn't just a job as this has been making me unhappy. I am going to have a long hard think about the direction I want to go in and how I will get there. I have a deep love for nature and animals and I need to find the route that will enable me to have a career in this field.

Focusing on my blogging: This is hobby of mine and something I love to do. Sometimes I find products that I need to tell people about! I've discovered brands with background stories that people need to know and products that have been produced for a certain reason by a team with real ethics. Being such a perfectionist it can be impossible to just chuck a post together and be proud for other people to see it. That's why I will focus and dedicate more time in building my blog up.

Cutting down on my comping time: If I'm not at work I can spend every waking hour in front of my laptop entering competition after competition. This has lead to a neglected blog with posts that are irregular. Not good!
I have also gained weight due to sitting dormant for hours on end. Comping shouldn't come first and from now on it wont.

Being more active: I have discovered a Zumba class just 10 minutes away from my house. It's first night will start on Tuesday the 8th of January and I'm determined to go. I used to participate in Zumba (along with many other classes) a couple of years ago and I loved it. It was motivating and energising. Why wouldn't I want that again? I know that when I start it will energize me and motivate me to go to other classes that I love and truly miss.

There you have it; the things I am looking forward to in 2013. You never know I may do that well that I look forward to bigger and better things in 2014.
I know it's a bit late but Happy New Year everyone!

What are you looking forward to in 2013?
