Bionsen Deodorant Review

As I'm currently trying to swap my chemically filled products for natural based ones I was delighted to be sent some Bionsen deodorants to review. They contain no aluminium or parabens and are hypoallergenic which is great for people who suffer with sensitive skin. The other bonus is that although unconfirmed parabens and aluminium are believed to be linked to breast cancer so I feel that avoiding this chemical is a wise move. Bionson Deodorant contains added natural minerals that have long been regarded to nourish and protect the skin. They also neutralise the bacteria that cause body odor instead of blocking the sweat glands.
The light blue packaging gives a spa type feel to the Product. There's an 'aluminium free' sticker on each lid which is something that stands out and I believe would be a good way to initially draw people to the pros of the product.

Roll On Deodorant - £2.29
I've never been a fan of roll on deodorants as I often find them damp whilst leaving an unpleasant sticky feeling under the arms. I can happily say that the Bionsen roll on doesn't have that effect. I have to wait a couple of minutes  after applying just to make sure it's dried fully. The scent is nice and fresh, it's a scent that I can't quite put my finger on - I just know that it reminds me of a roll on that my mom used when I was a child - it's very clean and not over powering which I love. My underarms didn't sting even when I applied it the day after shaving and it had a decent lasting power. I have no complaints at all.

Pump Spray Deodorant - £2.79
I'm not usually a fan of pump sprays for the same reason as roll on applicators; I like to feel fully dry under the arms or else I feel uncomfortable. My usual choice of deodorant is in stick form as it leaves me bone dry which is what I aim for. I thought this pump would leave me feeling a bit too damp but I was pleasantly surprised. After waiting for a couple of minutes to ensure my underarms were fully dry I got dressed and I didn't feel sticky which was great. Again the scent was fresh and light which allows me to enjoy the product. I feel this pump spray effects lasts for a shorter amount of time therefore if I had to choose one it would be the roll on.

To conclude Bionsen is a great brand for people with sensitive skin. Even though I had a good experience with the products, roll on and spray deodorants aren't for me. Luckily Bionsen do a solid stick so I will give that a go next and I'll let you know what I think.
You can purchase Bionsen from Morrisons or even have a look at the Bionsen website to see what else they have to offer.

I read about the aluminium/breast cancer association and stopped using roll-on's for that exact reason.

I'm so glad that Bionsen are aluminium free as now I don't have to have stinky pits :-)

I like the sound of this. When I lived in America all natural products were more widely available, and cheaper, so i used them all the time. My favourite was Jason products, I always used their deodorant. It's scary the damage the additives in our toiletries are doing to us. Great review.

I've been put of trying this because the first ingredient on the spray is Alcohol Denat and I noticed it contain Parfum, these are two ingredients I have problems with because of irritation. Sounds like you enjoy the products. I haven't made the switch to all natural deodorant.

The pump spray version is quite interesting and not something I would ever have thought of using or actually ever seeing available xx

This product is the only thing on the market that has finally after years allowed me to deodorise without suffering with weeks of itchy inflamed armpits, needs to be stocked in more shops and possibly a male version. Brilliant :-)
