Have you ever realised you've forgotten your purse just after you've ordered a takeaway coffee on the way to work?
They've already made it so what do you do? I got extremely embarrassed and said "I'm so, so sorry, I can't pay - I've left my purse at home!".
In the back of my mind I was thinking; 'gutted, I was looking forward to that'.
I left the coffee shop feeling happy and in a better mood, someone was randomly nice to me, and there wasn't anything in it for them!
These random acts of kindness make me smile, they make the day that little bit better - why don't we do this all the time? I could do more - granted, but I know I do things for other people. Hopefully my kindness will rub off on them and they will pass the kindness on - and so on.
It's because of these kind of acts of kindness that Clara started this blog hop. She wanted to pass it on after she received some that overwhelmed her.
I spotted this hop on my buddy Yorkshire Mums blog so I will be receiving a nice surprise from her some time in the future.
This is how it works;
The first 6 people to comment on this post will be sent a surprise from me.
It wont be extravagant or expensive (unless I win the lottery from now until then, hehe) - just something nice; shop bought or home-made.
It will be sent out before the end of 2013 but I wont tell you when.
Hopefully it will arrive on a random day when you've forgotten all about this link up so it will be a lovely surprise!
I ask that if you comment here you also join the link up - keep passing he kindness to others.
While we're on the subject why not check out the Random Acts of Kindness UK Facebook page or the Random Acts of Kindness UK website?

Why not let someone in front of you at the supermarket. That always gets a smile for me!
Cheers, Cx
What a lovely person at the coffee place! Random acts of kindness definitely have to be one of the best things and always make your day. Will definitely be linking this up on my blog :)
I know, it made my day - I was really embarrassed to start with, but yeah - they didn't have to do that so it was sweet :)
Hey,
Thanks for linking up :)
You're right :)
The older folk seem to do that a lot when you have only a few bits - it always makes me smile :)
Hey :)
I know, when there's nothing in it for them is when it's so nice and meaningful :)
What a lovely idea, I'll definitely look into it ;o)
